After several months reviewing several books to improve my writing skill, these are the ‘must have’ books on academic writing:

English Solutions for Engineering and Science Research Writing – Highly recommended – contain guideline and check list for each process and section in thesis/journal writing. English for Writing Research Papers – Good explanation on what to write at every section of an academic paper. Clear explanation on the appropriate selection of word’s tense .
